Outreach
International Church seeks to reach out to the most vulnerable people throughout Thailand. Our motive is to “advance the work of Jesus” as it relates to his own description of his mission in Luke 4:18-19.
We do so by partnering with Christian ministries throughout the country. Currently we have fourteen partners. Each month we focus on a different one. We pray for them. Often pay them a visit to learn about their ministry and encourage them. And we support them financially.
10% of our yearly total income goes directly to the outreach partners. Members and friends are also encouraged to give directly to our partners through our “purple box” which is always available. In 2009, for example, ICB gave just under 20% of our income directly to our partners.
Below are our ministry partners from 2009 and into 2010 with a short description of each. Click the weblinks for more information. Or you can look through old copies of the International Church Newsletter for more detailed descriptions. (NOTE: Not all the weblinks are to the ministry site. The Prachakittisuk Link is to a site a third party church has done to raise money for them. But the information is good!) Where there is no weblink the webaddress is unknown to us.
