Advancing the work of Jesus
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
– Jesus, Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)
The International Church of Bangkok partners with Christian ministries throughout Thailand to advance the work of Jesus. Currently we have nine partners. We pray for them. We often visit them to learn about their ministry and to encourage them. And we support them financially.
5% of our yearly total income goes directly to the outreach partners. Members and friends are also encouraged to give directly to our partners through our “purple box” which is always available. Generally, ICB gives just under 20% of our income directly to our partners.
Below are our ministry partners with a short description of each. Click the weblinks for more information. (NOTE: Not all the weblinks are direct to the ministry site. Some are done by a third party which also supports the ministry, but are provided for informational purposes. Where there is no weblink the webaddress is unknown to us.)
Chaiyapruk Children’s Home – Nakorn Nayok. Located just outside of the Minburi suburb of Bangkok, Chaiyapruk supports children who have been abandoned by their families. It offers not only a place of refuge but also a place called home, where they can grow up happily, healthy.
