We are young and not so young, we come from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds to worship together.

Our church family includes Thai nationals and a significant representation from other Asian countries as well as the Americas and Europe with a smattering from other continents. We come from every imaginable Christian denomination. The membership consists of both long term and short term residents. Experienced Christians and new believers and people who are simply interested in learning more about Jesus Christ and Christianity. We are an eclectic mix.

Your participation in worship, praise and in all Church activities is welcome. You may call ICB your Church home temporarily or you may formally join through transfer or reaffirmation of faith. Church membership at ICB does not mean you have to relinquish membership in your home church in your native country.

In our 60th Anniversary booklet, our church historian considered what were rapid changes in membership and commented: "if we are true to God's purpose now, as in the past, new leaders will surely always be found to replace those who are leaving and the church will continue on its journey of faith for many decades to come." You are invited to be part of this journey.

The International Church of Bangkok is a congregation of the Church of Christ in Thailand, which is a member of the Christian Conference of Asia, the World Alliance of Reformed Churches and the World Council of Churches. ICB is also affiliated with the US-based Network for International Congregations.

ICB was established in 1932, the evolution of a tradition of home worship begun by Protestant missionaries who came to Thailand 100 years earlier. ICB is a totally independent and self-supporting congregation with members pledges and contributions supporting the work of the staff and the life of the congregation.

The church does not own property in Bangkok but has a rental arrangement with the Church of Christ in Thailand for worship, Sunday School and fellowship space.

The ICB Prayer Chain enables members to be notified of people and situations for which we are invited to pray. Lifting up our lives in prayer to God is an important part of our faith. Children and youth are always welcome at ICB. We strive to be a place that is family friendly.
